Sunny is an AI assistant designed to streamline and automate the entire revenue collection workflow for small to mid-sized businesses. The AI assistant simplifies tasks by creating, managing, and sending invoices while automating email follow-ups and payment processing. This reduces the time spent on invoice processing and payment reconciliation, helping businesses save time and decrease their administrative workload.

Through a two-week design sprint, I set out to design and validate Sunny’s core value proposition. I conducted in-depth interviews with businesses to learn more about their experiences while also testing a landing page and a prototyped onboarding journey that highlighted the platform’s core features. We followed up with a survey to validate the value proposition and measure its resonance with the target audience.

I concluded each interview with a brief 3-question product-market fit survey to measure the design’s impact on the value proposition and understand the ideal customer profile. The results showed that 75% of respondents expressed a high likelihood of adopting Sunny for their business. Participants estimated potential time savings of 8-10 hours per week, highlighting the product’s effectiveness in addressing their needs.
